Guiding the way.

So i'm new.

New to this world....
To the blogging world!
I have so much to learn and I have so little time!
Jk.
So I guess i'll start off with the cliché "about me" post first.

I'm currently a student at UT...JK again; It's actually at ACC. But hey hold the mustard cause ACC is a pretty great school too if you ask me. And God willingly UT will be next on the list.
I've been racking my brain on what I've wanted to do with my life for quite sometime.

This is my dilemma:
I want to make a lot of money BUT I do not want to be a doctor, surgeon, lawyer, or whatever else brings home the huge bag of cheddar.

(Oh money tree, when will you be invented??)

And it isn't because being the titles listed above takes too much work and school. I actually had my heart set on being a Pharmacist for a good while but I realized it's just not for me.
SO, honey I'm home and I know what I want to be!

A Guidance Counselor!
BAM WHAT? (New catch phrase I might be saying now thanks to the new Disney channel comedy "Liv and Maddie")

Yes girl! I first wanted to be a teacher so that I could be known as "the really cool teacher who is super nice and let's us watch movies in class, and text and stuff". But then I remembered that kind of stuff might get me fired SO my next option was a Guidance Counselor.
When I was in school I had a rough time knowing where I was supposed to fit in. But it's never about fitting in; it's about standing out, and that's the type of messages I would love to deliver to my future students at school.

I love the idea of listening to problems and giving out solutions; positive and motivating ones. I cannot wait! I want to start a revolution! And hey the best part about this career choice is, I still get to work at a school and be an awesome counselor with super nice clothes!

I just have to buy some first....
